A fleet operations manager builds her own vehicle exception report. Not a generic anomaly detection system — a system that flags the specific conditions she has learned, over years managing this particular fleet, are the early indicators of a maintenance problem. The threshold for a hydraulic pressure alert is not set at the industry standard. What data do you have that a generic AI vendor does not? Your maintenance records. Your customer interaction history. Your supplier performance data. Your internal exception logs. This data exists because your operation has been running. A vendor tool trained on industry benchmarks does not have it. An AI system you build over your own data does.
What decisions do you make every day that would be better with faster, cleaner information? The decisions that currently take 20 minutes to gather context for. The ones you make partly from memory and partly from instinct because the data is too scattered to consult quickly. Those are the decisions that AI, built over your data, can improve most directly.
